Allergies aren’t a choice, but they still impact life. While I have had to change my diet to suit my health, those around me are allergy free. My goal is to make meals that can be easily adjusted to cater to those with allergy restrictions.
Some of my recipes taste better in a gluten and dairy free form, and others may be better in their original form with all the dairy and gluten for those whom can tolerate it. Many families have someone with an allergy, but that doesn’t mean that everyone’s diet needs to be restricted. On this blog, I like to provide options that are simple, easy meals for all the wonderful humans in our lives. So welcome to my inclusive kitchen, where everyone has a meal.
My name is Nicolette, at twenty-three years old I was diagnosed with Chron’s disease and then developed severe allergies to gluten, dairy and peanuts. Coming from a family that lives to eat, this diagnosis dramatically changed how I viewed food. Anyone who knows me knows that I am constantly working on my recipes and food is my passion. Cooking has always been a joy of mine, but the journey got more interesting with new allergies.
We’re here to provide a wealth of knowledge for homes looking to balance an allergy-friendly diet with those who are not.
